I came to Mary Miller's house like I do the first Tuesday of the month for our Bible study, but then, SURPRISE! Baby shower! I didn't think people usually gave baby showers when it's your second time around, so it was really a surprise. The women in my group were so nice to throw it for me, and it was a really enjoyable evening. We sat outside the whole time and talked until Pat drove over (around 10 o'clock) and said "I just wanted to make sure you were all right!"

Menu: Mexican Soup with Broccoli Cornbread and Iced Tea. Plus little cake squares and pumpkin-gingersnap bars with real whipped cream for dessert: very delicious!
